Scholarship for AICP Exam
Are you taking the AICP exam in May and could use financial assistance? APA Idaho is awarded one scholarship to an AICP exam candidate who has a financial need. Scholarship recipients pay just $75 for the exam fee, instead of the $425.
Applicants must submit a written explanation of financial hardship (including financial hardship caused by a budget cutback in a firm or agency), which necessitates the request to Diane Kushlan, Chapter PDO, dkushlan@fiberpipe.net by February 15, 2018. The guidelines for selection set by AICP are: the applicant’s employer will not subsidize the exam fee; the applicant would not otherwise take the exam without the reduced fee; and preference is given to minorities. Selection will be made by February 28, 2018. Nomination and selection of scholarship recipients is strictly confidential, and awarding of a scholarship does not guarantee that a recipient will be approved to take the AICP Exam.
