WHO WE ARE The APA Idaho Chapter
The Idaho Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA ID) is a non-profit organization comprising professionals and citizen planners dedicated to guiding the future development of Idaho communities. As the state affiliate of the American Planning Association, we boast over 230 APA members statewide, representing diverse expertise and interests both locally and nationally. Our members span the public and private sectors, working for Federal, state, and local governments, as well as firms of various sizes. They contribute to long-range planning, development review, master planning, site planning, transportation planning, land use planning, environmental planning, design, and numerous other roles.

Call For Conference Presentations
The Idaho Chapter of the American Planning Association is currently inviting submissions for session presentations for the fall conference. The theme for this year is "Ida-Home and Grown," focusing on Economic Development, Housing, and Agriculture. The conference will be held in Moscow, ID from October 2-4.
Call For Awards Nominations
The APA Idaho Chapter is inviting nominations for its 2024 Awards Program at the Fall Conference in Moscow, ID. This program aims to recognize exceptional planning projects and individuals in Idaho. Nominations are open to various entities involved in planning, and winners will be showcased as exemplary models for planning in Idaho.
